When Dawn couldn't find a lip balm that was truly clean, affordable, and effective for her daughter Gibby, she decided to make one — and Numbrrrz was born.
About The Founder
I grew up in a single-parent household where money was tight, but love and presence were abundant. My mom gave everything she had to pour into us, and early on I learned not to ask for more than she could give. Sports became my outlet. A natural athlete, I'll always be grateful for the sponsors who carried me through high school athletics. Their support opened the door to a full-ride scholarship in college playing volleyball — an opportunity that changed the course of my life. Go, RU!
From there came two careers: first as a GM running a successful bar inside of a large, well-known hotel, and later as an HR Director. I had to grow a lot in my leadership, learning from early missteps and becoming someone people were glad to work with and for. Those years taught me resilience, sharpened my perspective, and deepened my understanding of people.
On paper, it was “success.” But life — and motherhood — shifted my perspective. I realized the most precious thing we have isn't money or titles. It's time. That realization is what ultimately inspired me to take a leap of faith into building something of my own.
That's where Numbrrrz comes in.
The idea started with something simple: my daughter. When Gibby was born, I started paying attention to everything touching her skin — and the deeper I looked into the beauty industry, the more it became clear how little transparency there was around ingredients. That realization sparked a decision: if I wanted a product that was clean, honest, and effective, I'd have to make it myself. So I did. Welcome to Numbrrrz — four organic ingredients, one honest balm, made for the people you love most.
