Secret Santa Gift Under $25 That Everyone Uses

Secret Santa has one rule that matters: stay under the limit, usually $20–$25, with something the other person will actually use. Gift roundups keep landing on lip balm for a reason. Almost everyone uses it, nobody minds having another, and it fits any budget.

The pick: Starter 2-Pack, $23

The Starter 2-Pack is two 0.5 oz (14 g) USDA Organic lip balm tubes in any two scents for $23, with free U.S. shipping. That's $11.50 a tube, and each tube holds about 3.3 times a standard 0.15 oz stick. It comes in under a $25 cap with room for a card.

Picking scents for someone you don't know well

• Peppermint + Unscented: the safest blind draw. Peppermint is our best seller, and Unscented covers the person who doesn't like scents.
• Coconut Vanilla + Strawberry: sweeter, for the coworker with a candy jar on their desk.
• Lavender + Peppermint: one for the morning, one for the evening.

Works for white elephant too

Two tubes split nicely, so whoever steals it can share one. It's small, light and easy to wrap.

Doing the whole team?

If you're buying for the office instead of one person, the Balm Squad 40-Count works out to about $8.23 a tube. See the team gift guide.
