USDA Organic.

Definition

What it means.

A certification from the United States Department of Agriculture verifying that agricultural products have been grown and processed according to strict federal guidelines addressing soil quality, animal raising practices, pest and weed control, and use of additives. For personal care ingredients, organic certification ensures no synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or GMOs were used in production. Organic
